Adventure Film Night

We work in public places offering compassionate support to people focused on play, discovery and company in the natural world. The projects we deliver encourage people to join together in wild parts of the Staffordshire Moorlands, and in the parks and recreation grounds around towns supporting wellbeing generally. This is often the start of their outdoor adventures.

Greenwood are partnering with The Peak Climbing Wall to host the first ever Adventure Film Night in our town. We are both Leek-based organisations doing our bit to open up the wilds of the Staffordshire Moorlands to our community.

Our home, Leek in Staffordshire, is unique in so many ways. Secluded amongst some of the most famous rocky outcrops and breathtaking countryside in the UK has to offer. The wall is built around the idea of enhancing peoples experience of our little part of the world and giving people the skills to access freely all parts of it. The Centre consists of two departments, The Climbing School & The Climbing Wall. Our Climbing School is the outdoor department and caters for all abilities wanting to learn how to climb real mountains and rock faces, our climbing wall is our local community hub where you can train and develop on those wet days.

What to expect on the night

A welcoming community of people who love spending time outside are joining together to enjoy community, to listen to a couple of talks from local adventurers, to share food, join in with a raffle and watch a couplf of shorts and one feature length film.

Raffle tickets will be available to purchase with top prizes from local businesses and suppliers.

Great food and drink

In with the ticket price is a bowl of hot food. Legendary cakes n brews will be available to purchase on the night.
