How to select films for my community event.
There are several ways in which our hosts select films for their community events. This article will guide you through the tools available to you.
From your host dashboard, select the films and player button.
From here, you have several options, as highlighted below:
Use the filters to narrow down the festival selection
Add a film directly to a screening
Toggle the shortlist to add a film to your shortlisted films (note that shortlisted films are not automatically added to screenings)
Shortlisted films will be shown on your host dashboard. See the image below.
You can then add films from this shortlist to your screenings. This is also how you access film stills and posters to help you promote your community events/screenings.
Download the basic CSV / XLSX
You can get the current film list from your host dashboard in your chosen format using the download buttons on the right-hand side of your host dashboard, as shown below.
The download contains the following information.
filmName: The name of the film.
filmLength: The length of the film in minutes.
teaser: A short description of the film.
directedBy: The directors of the film.
lmffCategory: The primary LMFF category for this film.
dateUpdated: The last time this film entry was updated by the team.
