How does the Household Pass work?
The household pass allows you to watch all the shortlisted films for this year's LMFF; you can only access the Festival Player during the festival's days.

Can I watch the films on my TV
To watch films on your TV, the simplest way, if you have a laptop, is to plug it in to the TV with a cable.

When is it too late to get a Community Pass and run a Community Event?
The answer lies more in having a venue available and how quickly you can mobilise your community to attend. If you are a club that meets regularly, this may be simple but read on.

What do I need to know about licences and insurance?

Where is my public event page?
Your listing, which you can use to promote your screenings / film events, can be accessed from the My Event Page' button.

Can I add more film time to my Community Event?
Yes, you can. Each community event is limited to 180 minutes as standard, but you can upgrade and get another 180 minutes.

How to add and manage Film Sessions / Screenings
Film sessions form a part of your LMFF listing; you can add as many as you intend to put on and make them public or private. This article guides you through the process.

Where can I see this year's selection?
Once we have selected from the numerous entries, we post a list of the selections on our website. Look for a link in the navigation menu usually '2025 Films' or similar.

Can I buy a Gift Card and get my own household or community pass?
Yes, you can as long as the Gift Card is used by someone other than you; in particular, the Gift Card recipient will need to use their own / a different email address to create their account.

How many films will be available, and what will they cover
Submissions are still open, so we can't be precise, but last year, we had approximately 120 films available as part of the festival.
